Mysteries of the Fire Element

US$88.00

Originally offered as a live-stream to usher in the Fire Season, also known as the early Summer, according to ancient Chinese traditions, the wisdoms and rituals shared in this recorded e-course can be observed at any point of the year. It’s especially encouraged to work the Yang and Fire principles when one is going through periods of soul searching, discovering and renewing their values, and navigating fiery emotions such as anger, rage, and hatred.

This course continues our year-round exploration of the Wu Xing (Five Elements and also known as the Chinese elements) according to Daoist principles. Listeners are invited to engage in Daoist based wisdoms and rituals that challenge distortions and misunderstandings of Yin and Yang principles.

Mimi Young, animist spirit medium shares how to approach and relate with the Fire Element as an ally and without the distortions of even some New Age circles may regard the Yang aspect. Rather, engage with the necessary part of life, the Yang, through the foundations of Daoist thought, the I Ching, and what it means to be of service to the Yin that balances both our inner cravings and reality.

How participants of this course have benefited and grown from the practices and insights:

  • A reintroduction and renewal of understanding the Yang principle, its themes and functions, in a very real and direct way.

  • The qualities of Fire discussed and directly engaged with animistically, and how the Fire element is interconnected with the other elements of the Five Phases (Wu Xing), including the generative and degenerative phases.

  • How relating and forecasting with Fire in mind is paramount for Wood Years, including this Year of the Wood Dragon and next year’s Wood Snake (2024 through to early 2026).

  • How to work with anger, rage, frustration, hatred, and bitterness more constructively.

  • Understand your body’s relationship with the Fire and Yang aspects.
