Artful Therapy and Creative Self Care: Cutting and Collaging To Wrap Up the 2024 Year

Join us for an engaging workshop that harnesses the therapeutic power of collage-making to celebrate the closing of 2024. This creative process invites us to explore fresh perspectives and express ourselves in meaningful ways. Through cutting, arranging, and layering, we can experience a transformative journey that mirrors the cycle of letting go, processing, and rebuilding—ultimately leading to a healing, creative practice. No prior art experience is necessary—this session promises to be playful and fluid, inviting you to embrace the delights of the season.
In this session, we’ll incorporate the soothing practice of Tea, engaging all six senses as we approach collage-making. By working with the materials at hand, we’ll playfully craft something new that resonates with our current realities and aspirations. In the spirit of Tea animism and connection with the Unseen, we’ll develop a ritual of contemplation, allowing us to fully inhabit the present moment. This practice fosters self-trust, enjoyment, and an unveiling of insights that nurtures.
In-person attendees will be treated to a flight of three exquisite teas from Mimi’s personal collection, each chosen to enhance our connection with the themes of this event and our communication with the Unseen.

A delightful selection of Teas and their spirits, both physically and energetically reflecting artfulness, inspiration, healing, and the approaching winter season.
Step into ease, fun, and for your busy mind to rest. Be open to spiritual healing. No experience in healing art or collage work is necessary!
The invitation to divinate or foretell from the collage(s) you create, much like interpreting an oracle card.
Mimi will also share mini spirit readings for each ticket holder (in-person and live-stream).
Please have the following supplies available:
pen and paper
old magazines that can be cut up
scissors
glue stick
tea and teaware of choice (for online attendees)
A note for live-stream attendees: Once you have signed up, Zoom login details will be emailed to you within 24 hours. All live-stream ticket holders will be sent a replay link via email within 48 hours after the course, and the content is available only within 48 hours of distribution. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to download the contents within the 48 hours onto your device so that you will have the recording in perpetuity.
*Given the nature of the type of deep work we get into during these sessions, and out of respect for the entire group, we ask that participants are 16 years of age and up.
