The Magick of Tea: Collaging as Oracle

This is an intimate, hybrid event, with 10 spots available for in-person in Vancouver at O5 Tea, and 10 spots available via Zoom with recording.

Psychic Insights and Unstucking Through Collaging
Collage making is a therapeutic art method to remind ourselves of our ability to show up in our lives in refreshing ways, in ways that we want to. The process itself can mimic a shock or severance, then a processing and accepting that paves way to meditation, healing ritual, and a place to reconstruct. Coupled with Tea, we will be approaching the concept of collaging through all 6 senses.
Collaging is about working with what we have, playing and creating something different, something that fits, and in the safety of holding both reality and the imaginal. Working in the context of Tea animism and spirit communication, we can work in collaboration, with the Seen and Unseen, and develop a ritualization of noticing what our actual experience is at the present moment. By being here in the present, we learn to attend to ourselves, trust ourselves and enjoy ourselves, moving from fear and into our values and desires.
Sitting with the combined ceremony of Tea and healing collage making, timed with the approaching Summer Solstice, makes the hidden visible. No art making experience is necessary. This session will be playful, in flow, and one that leans into the delights of the summer! It will also be the last Magick of Tea until the fall.
In-person attendees will experience a flight of three exceptional teas from O5 Tea that support the themes of the Magick of Tea event and communicative abilities with the Unseen.
All ticket-holders will receive a $20 voucher to spend towards any O5 tea purchase totalling over $100 (great for online attendees who can order tea from the tea menu ahead of time for the event! Please allow up to 10 – 14 days for teas to be shipped within North America.)
What to expect:
A delightful selection of Teas and their spirits, both physically and energetically reflecting artfulness, inspiration, healing, and the summer season.
Step into ease, fun, and for your nervous system to rest. Be open to spiritual healing. No experience in healing art or collage work is necessary!
The invitation to divinate or foretell from the collage(s) you create, much like interpreting an oracle card.
Mimi will also share mini spirit readings for each ticket holder (in-person and live-stream).
Please have the following supplies available:
pen and paper
old magazines that can be cut up
scissors
glue stick
tea and teaware of choice (for online attendees)
A note for live-stream attendees: Once you have signed up, Zoom login details will be emailed to you within 24 hours. All live-stream ticket holders will be sent a replay link via email within 48 hours after the course, and the content is available only within 48 hours of distribution. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to download the contents within the 48 hours onto your device so that you will have the recording in perpetuity.
*Given the nature of the type of deep work we get into during these sessions, and out of respect for the entire group, we ask that participants are 16 years of age and up.
