A group spell service is a ritual I privately perform on your behalf, timed with astrological or Daoist calendar timing. There is no gathering, workshop, or live participation. Rather, once you sign up and (optionally) submit your intention at checkout, your part is complete.
Hungry Ghost Day, observed during the Zhongyuan Festival (中元節) in the Daoist lunar calendar, marks a rare opening between worlds, when the Gate of the Earth is believed to open and wandering or forgotten spirits cross into the human realm. Rooted in Daoist cosmology and East Asian animist traditions, this is not just cultural observance but a form of spiritual hygiene and energetic protection, where offerings are made to honour ancestors and appease unsettled spirits. Their presence, even if not personally connected to us, can manifest as lingering grief, fatigue, emotional weight, or subtle unrest in the home.
This ritual is not about remembering or appeasing someone else’s dead — that is not mine to do. Rather, it is a spell of petition and protection, performed to restore peace in your home by tending to the spiritual residue that may be lingering unseen. Through sacred fire, ritual speech, and offerings of fruit and herbs, I petition on your behalf for resolution, release, and balance, creating both boundary and balm between the living and the dead.

The ritual will be conducted privately on the afternoon of August 10; no direct ritualized action is needed on your part. However, your willingness to remain open, through rest, simple awareness, and small habits that support a harmonious space, will deepen and integrate the effects of the work.
