A Prayer To Aid Your Fall Equinox Rituals and Spell Work
Prayers to Ancestors and the Animate Forces can fortify your magical spells
I wrote this in the voice of a group, for those who may desire to gather and engage in group ritual work, as I will be tonight to honour the Autumn Equinox (first day of Fall) with those in the Ceremonie community and my coven mates from Homing Coven. If you are a solitary witch or solo magical practitioner, please feel free to substitute the “we” to “I”.
We thank the ancestors for their wisdom, their stories, their sacrifices, and for paving the way on which we stand on right now.
We give thanks for everything they have done, and everything they continue to do.
May we honour, respect, and be guided to walk the path with the Unseen, that the spirits reveal themselves to us, and that our relationship with the animate forces becomes as strong and as deep as established trees.
May our work be honest and responsible, that it strengthen our living and non-living human ties and kinship with the more than human.
May the Metal Element of the Autumn season fortify and protect us, that we may gain the strength to overcome every obstacle and receive every blessing coming our way.
May the authority of the land, cycles, and the dead, always be open to us.
