DOES INTUITION CHANGE AS WE AGE?
Even the most seasoned intuitive, psychic, witch, healer, or spirit worker experience plateaus or deep winter seasons from time to time. The idea here is not to force our work into perpetual springs, as every phase of a cycle can be opportunities for engagement with the Seen and Unseen, to deepen our spiritual practice, to return to foundational lessons and skills, to renew our sense of humility and commitment to our craft.
SHADOW WORK
Stop forcing the light. Instead, let us become reconciled to the shadows within before we can be reconciled to the shadows in the outer world. Only the acknowledgment of our own fears, triggers, narcissism, hate, and every other unappealing, rejected, denied or devalued part of ourselves can prevent the same reenactment of pain. “Love and light” spirituality is a symptom of the deep unacknowledged, dishonoured, and unresolved aspects of ourselves. Parts that have not had one witnessing it in a safe, tender, and accountable way.
Emotional Resources for The Year of the Water Tiger
I don't think it was an accident that Venus and Mercury Retrograde preceded the arrival of the Water Tiger. So much churching, sorting, sitting still to let the murky waters settle and clarify, and then to make embodied decisions of sovereignty and authenticity.
It hasn't always been easy, but I am grateful for the reminders the spirits have shared with me: their messages of knowing myself, releasing parts too well known that are now ready to chart new waters, to feel and respond to the dynamic and often paradoxical energy of the Tiger.
