It's International Women's Day, and yet…

What are the true costs and impact of harmful practices that are disguised as feminism?

…many of my personal frustrations, depletions, and wounds have been sustained from women. We cheer today for women (and we should), but are our needs as women uniform? Are our experiences the same?

What are the costs and impact of:
Boss babe feminism?
Love and light feminism?
Classist feminism?
Queen bee feminism?

Am I less of a feminist if I do not align with white ideologies?

The wellness and spiritual communities are not exempt from this.
In fact, since these are meant to be spaces of healing, it’s paramount that we centre this topic.

There a number of resources that explore the facets of feminism that go beyond homogeneity, and my upcoming Black Holes Birthing Stars creative series will also be holding space for this.
